Tampa General Hospital’s team members can focus on their jobs knowing their children are well cared for by nearby experts.

 TGH’s main campus has an on-site childcare center managed by Bright Horizons Family Solutions, which is committed to quality programs for children. These programs focus on education and help children develop self-confidence, self-respect, self-reliance and a positive self-image. Our literature-based curriculum offers exciting hands-on experience for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Classic literature and related activities teach literacy, character development and age appropriate skills. 

The selection of high-quality teachers and commitment to low child/teacher ratios are essential to maintaining Tampa General’s high standards of care and education. All potential teachers are carefully screened, looking in particular at formal education and previous experience in the child care field. An extensive background check is also performed. 

The Tampa General Hospital Child Care Center, managed by Bright Horizons Family Solutions:

•    Accepts children ages 6 weeks to 5 years

•    Open 6a.m. – 8p.m. Monday-Friday

•    Offers special rates for children of TGH employees
