Grace Schneider, MBA-HRM, SHRM-CP (Bilingual in Spanish) I joined the Tampa General Hospital team in 2015 after moving from Central America with a background in human resources and logistics. As a part of this wonderful organization that cultivates growth and development, I was given the opportunity to serve in different areas within the People and Talent division, acquiring a wide understanding of the support and partnership provided to our team members. Specializing in talent acquisition for health care has truly been my passion, and I proudly share my knowledge and experience with others to encourage them to achieve their dream roles. During my down time, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new places and learning historic landmarks as well as appreciating art and music. Currently, I am diving into cooking classes to expand my family’s culinary interests and keep the traditions shared with us. I’m excited to meet you and learn more about your interest. |

I started with the Tampa General Hospital team in 1978 as a graduate nurse in the CTICU, where I worked for about 10 years taking care of critical patients. Later in my nursing career, I expanded to Pre-Op/PACU to serve an additional 10 years in patient care. In 1999, I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in human resources and started my journey recruiting a variety of clinical roles. I have since obtained my master’s degree in HR management and have two HR certifications — the PHR and SHRM-CP, for which I am very proud. I also continue to keep my RN license. My biggest joy is matching the right nurse with the right position and then seeing them grow in their roles. TGH is such a great place to work and offers more support than any other local hospital. It is exciting to tell others about the great opportunities here. On my off time I enjoy the beach, reading mysteries and improving my cooking skills. I also love to play with my dog, Gypsy, one ball of white fur. |

I was offered an opportunity to continue my nursing career here at Tampa General Hospital in the Medical ICU, where I worked as a clinical nurse and their unit- based educator. During this time, I completed my bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s in nursing education. I work with an amazing Talent Acquisition team here at Tampa General Hospital, where I enjoy guiding today’s nurses on their journey here. On my off time, my husband and I are busy exploring what Florida has to offer, chasing after an adventurous 8-year-old, gardening and soaking up all the great weather Florida has to offer. And I’m currently adding chicken coops to the mix. |

During my time as a recruiter, I’ve had the opportunity to make nurse recruitment my focus. I’ve been able to work with those beginning their careers in health care to those seeking growth and further development in administrative and managerial functions. Working with organizations to identify team members who are truly passionate about the care they provide has been an absolute privilege and I am so grateful to bring my skill set to the Tampa General team! Monty Sayers, B.S. I joined TGH as the Manager of Talent Acquisition - Hospital, in June 2023 after a few years in Big Tech where I led a team of technical recruiters. Prior to my Big Tech adventure, I was in Healthcare for over 10 years with a large Healthcare System where I recruited everything from Nurses, Pharmacy, Case Management, Quality/Risk to Inpatient Social Services. In 2016 I was promoted into TA Leadership for 15 Hospitals and I've been passionate about leadership ever since! I'm a big proponent of supporting my team members success while driving successful strategies that scale for the organization. Leaving healthcare for Big Tech was lifechanging on so many levels, however, after coming back into Healthcare, I've realized that I'm home. A graduate from Portland State University in 2003, I left Oregon for the sunny skies of Florida in 2005 and then started a young family. Growing up I was a Military Brat being born into the Marines in Quantico Virginia, and then living in Ohio, Texas, Germany, and Oregon before settling down in Florida. While I never served myself, I have the upmost respect for all those that have served growing up in the Military. During my down time I spend time with my 2 teenagers who keep me active and energized. I also enjoy traveling, college football, studying Spanish, and live music. |
