New team members will receive a detailed communication from People and Talent regarding Day One of employment process, the dress code and other helpful information.

New Team Member Orientation

New team members are required to attend New Team Member Orientation in-person during their first week of employment.

Parking

As a new team member, you will park in your designated area on Day One of your employment at Tampa General Hospital. Parking information will be provided during your onboarding appointment.

System Access

As a team member, you will need to log in to the TGH computer system to perform your job, check your email, read announcements or updates, and access other important information regarding payroll or benefits.

When you log in to your TGH-provided computer for the first time, you will be prompted to create your username and password. The initial password is temporary and will need to be changed upon first log-in, per the IT Security policy. Access detailed instructions on how to complete this task and more in the New Team Member Orientation Participant Guide that will be provided to you on Day One.

PeopleSoft Setup

New team members can access their PeopleSoft self-service pages through the TGH Team Member Portal by clicking “My Stuff” in the top left corner of the page and then “My Pay.” New team members should:

  • Verify personal information
  • Verify licenses and certifications
  • Set up direct deposit
  • Complete the W-4 form
