About Sharon Fore, RN, MSN
With more than three decades of dedicated nursing experience, I began my career after graduating from St. Vincent’s Hospital and School of Nursing in 1988. My early years in New York City shaped my foundation as a clinician, but in 1992 I followed a new path to sunny Florida, where I joined Tampa General Hospital’s Medical ICU. During my time in the MICU, I served both as a clinical nurse and as a unit-based educator, roles that deepened my commitment to patient care, professional growth, and the development of future nurses. While advancing my clinical practice, I also completed my bachelor’s degree in nursing and later earned a master’s degree in nursing education. Today, I’m proud to be part of Tampa General Hospital’s Talent Acquisition team, where I have the privilege of guiding and supporting nurses as they begin or continue their careers within our organization. Helping others find their place in this profession is one of the most rewarding chapters of my journey.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring all that Florida has to offer with my husband, keeping up with our adventurous son, gardening, and soaking in the beautiful weather that first drew me here.
