Why Choose TGH for HCM Care?
As the region’s only academic health system*, we collaborate closely with the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine to bring the latest innovations in HCM care to our patients. We specialize in comprehensive evaluation and treatment of HCM in individuals and even genetic testing for family members.
Our program is built on the principles of shared decision-making, advanced diagnostics, and personalized treatment strategies. We provide the latest in imaging capabilities for accurate diagnosis and comprehensive medical management. Also, we are proud to be the first center in the Tampa Bay region to offer CAMZYOS® (mavacamten), a newly FDA-approved therapy, and one of only two Florida sites participating in the ODYSSEY-HCM clinical trial. Through a multidisciplinary collaboration with our partners in the TGH Cardiothoracic Surgery Center of Excellence, we also offer the most advanced surgical interventions, including myectomies and valve repair/replacement.
