Tampa General Hospital is one of just five burn centers in Florida to have earned Verification by the American Burn Association/American College of Surgeons and one of only two ABA-verified adult and pediatric burn centers in Florida. The center treats critically burned patients from emergency admission through rehabilitation, treating more than 500 adult burn patients and about 300 pediatric burn patients each year.
As Tampa Bay's only Level I Trauma Center, TGH is equipped to care for the most critically ill and injured patients with dedicated resources available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We provide a comprehensive range of emergency services that cater to the immediate and critical needs of patients at: TGH Wallace Trauma Center, TGH Outpatient Emergency Center, TGH Kennedy Emergency Center, and Orthopaedic Trauma. From acute injuries and severe illnesses to cardiac events, respiratory distress, and expert care for severe musculoskeletal injuries, our adult emergency services aim to provide timely and comprehensive care to patients.
TGH Home Medical Equipment powered by DASCO, a prominent provider in the field, specializes in offering essential home medical equipment to patients throughout the Tampa Bay area who require such resources for their recovery and care. Our inventory includes respiratory equipment, such as home oxygen systems, non-invasive ventilation devices and CPAP machines, alongside a variety of durable medical equipment, including walkers, wheelchairs and adjustable beds. This comprehensive range of products is designed to meet the diverse needs of patients in the region, ensuring that they receive the necessary support for effective care at home.
TGH Home Care powered by VNA of Florida provides a full range of home care services tailored for TGH patients and community members. Our services include in-home personal care and nursing support, ensuring seamless recovery for work-related injuries. Our offerings include in-home skilled nursing, home health aides, rehabilitation therapies, medical social services and more, all designed to facilitate a safe and efficient return to work.
TGH Imaging patients have access to Tampa’s leader in outpatient radiology with expert radiologists and a comprehensive list of screening, diagnostic and interventional services where they can get the answers they’ve been looking for. For over 30 years, TGH Imaging has provided the highest-quality patient care within a safe, compassionate, professional and innovative environment. Offices are located throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Palm Beach counties.
TGH Outpatient Rehab offers an extensive list of rehabilitative services to our Tampa Bay community and offers one-on-one dedicated care for your employees’ rehabilitative needs. For over 20 years, TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track has provided high-quality urgent care in the Tampa Bay area. Offering 20 convenient locations open seven days a week, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Our skilled board-certified providers deliver post-accident care and a full range of pre-employment screenings. We can help you control your health care costs by reducing emergency room visits and educating your employees on how to choose the appropriate health care for their needs.
The TGH Surgery Center at Brandon, TGH Surgery Center at Morsani, and Florida Endoscopy & Surgery Center are equipped with the newest technology, and our suites were designed first and foremost with patient safety and comfort in mind.
