P. Mark Glencross, MD, MPH, FACOEM, FAAPMR 

Director of Occupational Medicine & Team Member Health, Tampa General Hospital

P. Mark Glencross, MD, MPH, FACOEM, FAAPMR is a residency trained and board-certified physician in Occupational Medicine. He is triple boarded in three medical specialties; the others are Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Sports Medicine. He is a Fellow of the respective medical specialty societies. He is a graduate of the Ohio State College of Medicine, residency trained at University of Michigan and University of Tennessee, and residency and fellowship trained at Harvard University.

At Tampa General Hospital, he currently oversees Occupational Health care for TGH employees and also works with local employers on clinical partnerships at OneTGH Employer Solutions. He is consulting medical director for Marathon Health locations at Goodyear Tire and Rubber plants and directs the Occupational Medicine clinic for Texas A&M University.

Prior to arriving at Tampa General Hospital in 2022 he served simultaneously as regional Medical Advisor for BP and BP Gulf or Mexico, corporate Medical Director of Employee Health for Houston Methodist Hospitals, and a specialty evaluator for Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation. Dr. Glencross has been an Occupational Medicine physician for over 25 years and has helped assure the safety and health of workers in hospitals, camera, film, semiconductor, chemical, petroleum, tire, light and heavy manufacturing, veterinary, firefighting, police, arts and entertainment, aviation, maritime, mining, offshore oil, and university research.
