Patricia J. Emmanuel, M.D., operates as the Chief of the Muma Children's Hospital at TGH and as the Lewis A. Barness Professor and Chair of the Pediatrics Department at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Emmanuel obtained her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and a fellowship in infectious diseases from the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Emmanuel is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics for pediatric infectious diseases & pediatrics and is the former president of the Hillsborough Country Pediatric Society. Dr. Emmanuel's dedication to her patients has been recognized in the forms of her leadership and knowledge as she has received the President's Women's Leadership Award from USF Women's Status Committee and was featured in the Monograph for an Expert Guide on Children and Families
