Tampa General Hospital’s Stacey Brandt Named a 2026 Tampa Bay BusinessWoman of the Year

The academic health system’s chief administrative officer was honored by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as one of the region’s most dynamic and influential businesswomen.

 

Tampa, FL. (March 31, 2026) – Stacey Brandt, executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Tampa General Hospital (TGH), has been recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as a 2026 BusinessWoman of the Year. This award program annually recognizes some of the most dynamic and influential businesswomen in the Tampa Bay region, with honorees who lead across industries and have positively impacted the community. The honorees were celebrated at a black-tie gala held on March 27 at the Hilton Tampa Downtown.

In her capacity as the executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Tampa General, Brandt oversees strategic planning, service lines and institutes, marketing, public relations, physician business development, project management and process engineering across Tampa General’s expansive network, which includes seven hospitals and more than 150 care locations throughout Florida. Last year, Stacey’s role expanded to include oversight of the TGH North market, which includes the academic health system’s three community hospitals and ambulatory facilities serving Hernando and Citrus counties.

 

Brandt ensures Tampa General stays competitive, efficient and aligns with the needs of its patients and communities. Her leadership has directly impacted the organization’s continued success by driving sustained growth and enterprise-wide transformation for the academic health system, successfully launching and scaling several service lines and leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
