Tampa, FL (Dec. 4, 2025) – The Tampa General Hospital (TGH) Foundation continues its holiday tradition of partnering with jewelry designer Kendra Scott to fundraise for the Muma Children’s Hospital at TGH. A young patient got the opportunity to design her own line to help others.

One year ago, 10-year-old Charlize Davis survived a devastating fire that changed her and her family’s life. Throughout her recovery, Charlize’s mom said that Muma Children’s Hospital at TGH “has been our anchor.”

“The exceptional medical care, paired with the love, kindness and remarkable encouragement from the doctors, nurses and staff at Muma Children’s Hospital, transformed an unbearably dark time into one filled with hope,” Jamie Davis said.

Charlize returns monthly to Muma Children’s Hospital at TGH for procedures that she’ll need for a few years. She faces each visit with the courage and positivity that have defined her recovery.

Charlize was invited to Kendra Scott’s shop at Hyde Park Village in Tampa to design personalized pendants as part of the Kendra Gives Back program. She created the Brave Heart Collection by Charlize, which her mom said reflects Charlize’s spirit.

“Creating this collection is her way of giving back, celebrating the hospital that continues to change her life, and helping other children receive the same level of care,” Davis said. “Despite everything she has been through, Charlize remains the same loving child who sings and dances in the hallways, hugs everyone she meets, and believes every day is full of rainbows. That joy shines through every colorful piece in this collection — a little girl with a huge heart and extraordinary resilience.”

Kendra Scott will host an event benefiting Muma Children’s Hospital at TGH from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Kendra Scott Hyde Park, 1511 W. Swann Ave. in Tampa, with 20% of sales going to the Child Life Fund.

“We’re so thankful for the partnership with Kendra Scott, which will help to buy toys, games and enrichment activities for our young patients,” said Sarah Frahn, vice president of Women and Children’s Services at TGH. “It’s wonderful to see the community come together during the holidays to support our pediatric patients.”
