Minority Business Enterprise Program at TGH

Tampa General Hospital encourages the solicitation of minority business enterprises to provide meaningful economic opportunities in the procurement process. We encourage all of our vendors to utilize minority business enterprises whenever possible. A minority business enterprise must be certified through a reputable organization and be 51 percent owned and controlled by an ethnic minority or woman. TGH acknowledges the designations of African-American, Woman, Hispanic-American, Asian American, and Native American owned companies. Tampa General Hospital’s Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Program is designed to seek out and identify certified minority-owned businesses that provide a service and/or commodity which is purchased by TGH and to assist minority business enterprises in securing business contracts with TGH.
