2020-2021 Pharmacy Residency Class

David Ragoonanan

PGY2 Pharmacy Resident – Critical Care, dragoonanan@tgh.org

David Ragoonanan was born in South Florida and raised in Trinidad and Tobago where his family still lives. He attended Florida State College at Jacksonville for undergraduate studies and received his PharmD from Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy. During pharmacy school, he was a member of the Rho Chi Society and Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society.  He completed his PGY-1 residency at Ascension St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville, Florida and is currently the PGY2 in Critical Care at Tampa General Hospital. David’s goals for this year are to further his skills in research, precepting and clinical practice. Outside of residency, David enjoys playing football, soccer and tennis. He also enjoys reading and traveling the world. David is proud to be a part of the team at Tampa General Hospital. 

 

Matthew Noble

PGY2 Pharmacy Resident – Emergency Medicine, mnoble@tgh.org

Matthew was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Tampa where he also played on the Men’s Soccer team. He stayed in Tampa to earn his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of South Florida. During his time in school, he served as a leader and mentor as the Chapter President for the American Pharmacist Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists. He also served on the Professional Affairs Council for the Florida Pharmacy Association where he was able to identify and discuss matters of interest to the profession alongside other pharmacy professionals at the state level. In his personal time, he enjoys playing soccer, exercising, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Matthew is proud to stay a part of the Tampa General Hospital team and pursue his passion in emergency medicine.

 

Francheska Marte

PGY2 Pharmacy Resident – Ambulatory Care, fmarte@tgh.org

Francheska was born in New York, New York and raised in Providence, Rhode Island. After high school, she then moved to Queens, New York where she completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at St. John’s University. After completing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, she moved to Melbourne, Florida to complete her PGY1 residency at Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center. Francheska’s passion for ambulatory care first developed during her student rotations in primary care and heart failure transitions of care clinics. During her PGY1 residency, this passion further developed through experiences in anticoagulation, aging and integrated care clinics. Outside of pharmacy, Francheska enjoys traveling, dancing, going to the beach, spending time with family and serving her community. Most recently, she traveled to the Bahamas and hopes to plan a trip to Hawaii after residency. Francheska is very grateful for the opportunity to stay in Florida and to join the TGH Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Team.

 

Madeline Hudson

PGY2 Pharmacy Resident – Solid Organ Transplant, mhudson@tgh.org

Madeline is originally from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. She moved to Oxford, Mississippi and completed her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as her Doctor of Pharmacy, at the University of Mississippi. Throughout her time in pharmacy school, she enjoyed being heavily involved in various organizations, serving as a student ambassador for the pharmacy school, as well as a Donate Life ambassador for the Jackson, Mississippi community. Madeline completed her PGY-1 at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. In her free time, Madeline enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new foods, watching movies, and traveling. Madeline is excited to be a part of the Tampa General Hospital team and to pursue her passion in solid organ transplant.

 

Rachel Fanti

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident, rfanti@tgh.org

Rachel is originally from Queens, New York and grew up in Tampa, Florida. She completed both her undergraduate studies and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of South Florida. During pharmacy school, Rachel served as Chapter President for the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy, and went on to complete an APPE rotation at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys cooking and baking, as well as hiking, camping, and traveling. Rachel is excited to transition from her 4-year internship to her professional residency training at Tampa General Hospital.

Jenna Forry

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident, jforry@tgh.org

Jenna was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies and pharmacy school at the University of Florida in Gainesville. While in pharmacy school, she held leadership roles in the American Pharmacist Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists and Phi Delta Chi, through which she conducted various community health screenings and service events, and was an active member in Rho Chi Honor Society. Jenna was also an intern at Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center and SinfoniaRx for three years, where she confirmed her interest in health-system pharmacy. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Jenna is proud and excited to be a part of the Tampa General Hospital pharmacy team.

 

Jamie Myers

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident, jmyers@tgh.org

Jaimie was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. She returned to the Tampa Bay Area to complete her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of South Florida Taneja College of Pharmacy. Throughout pharmacy school, Jaimie was a part of the longitudinal internship program at Tampa General Hospital, was actively involved with various organizations and held leadership roles in the American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists, Florida Pharmacy Association, Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society, and the BRIDGE Healthcare Clinic. In her personal time, she enjoys playing with her Corgi, being active outdoors, and spending time with her husband, family and friends. Jaimie is excited to continue her clinical training at Tampa General Hospital and pursue her passions in oncology and solid organ transplant.

 

Nicholas Tran

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident, nicolastran@tgh.org

Nicolas was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Biochemistry at the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University before studying pharmacy at the Gainesville Campus of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. During pharmacy school, he was an active member in many professional organizations including the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, Rho Chi Society, and Equal Access Clinic Network. His current interest in critical care brought him to Tampa General Hospital. Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball, hiking in national parks, and watching the Gators play on Saturdays. Nicolas is excited to be a part of the Tampa General Hospital team!

 

Nicholas Liberto

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident, nliberto@tgh.org 

 

Nick was born and raised right outside of Baltimore, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where he received his B.A in Biological Sciences while also playing for the successful Men’s soccer program. He left Baltimore and moved to Auburn, AL to earn his Doctor of Pharmacy at the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. Throughout his enrollment in pharmacy school, he was an active participant and held leadership roles in Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc., the Rho Chi Society, and the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy Ambassadors program. During his free time, Nick loves to cook and learn about new food cultures, play soccer and golf, spend time at the beach, and cheer on the Baltimore Ravens and Auburn Tigers. Nick is ecstatic to be a part of the team at Tampa General Hospital and embark on a new journey in the sunshine state.

 

Jenny McCabe

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident, gmccabe@tgh.org

Jenny was born and raised in Topeka, KS. She attended the University of Kansas for her undergraduate studies and received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. During her time in the pharmacy program, Jenny enjoyed active involvement in student organizations, including being President of Kappa Epsilon Pharmaceutical Fraternity and Historian of the Rho Chi Honor Society. She also balanced two part-time pharmacy jobs, one in retail and the other at her hometown community hospital. In her free time, Jenny enjoys trying new local restaurants with friends, playing disc golf, doing puzzles, watching KC Chiefs football, and hanging out with her two cats, Sparky and Sprinkle. Growing up, Jenny’s family took almost yearly vacations to Florida, so she is extremely excited to live in Tampa and be a part of the world-class Tampa General Hospital team!
