Tampa General Hospital is one of only three academic centers in the region to offer comprehensive head and neck oncologic care. Collaboration between our specialized otolaryngologists (ENTs) and neurosurgeons allows us to provide world-class care for both benign and malignant tumors of the skull base.

Our institute also offers diagnosis and treatment to patients with cancers throughout the head and neck region, including the oral cavity, larynx, advanced skin, sinus, salivary gland, HPV-related cancers, as well as thyroid and parathyroid tumors. Tampa General is among a few programs to feature ENTs with fellowship training in head and neck cancer, allowing us to perform the most complex surgical procedures on the most challenging patients in the region.

The Tampa General Hospital Bariatric Surgery team manages some of the most challenging cases - from surgery to medical management to endoscopy - with optimal outcomes. This includes working with obese patients with end-stage heart, kidney or liver disease whose weight would otherwise exclude them from transplantation.
