About Amanda Holbrook, MSN, RN, RNC-OB, C-EFM
In her role as Sr. Director, Patient Services for TGH Women’s Institute, Amanda brings 16 years of nursing experience and 10 years as a director of nursing. Her career began and was established in high-risk OB, but Amanda also has leadership experience in Med/Surg, inpatient mental health care, and Cardiac units. Amanda has previously served as the AWHONN state president for New Mexico.
One of Amanda’s proudest professional accomplishments was her work throughout the state of New Mexico establishing standards for how emergency rooms and aeromed can stabilize obstetric emergencies prior to transporting to a trauma center. Her scope of services at TGH include Labor and Delivery, Transition Nursery, Ante/Post Partum, Mother/Baby, and Women’s Institute Support services.
