Tampa General Hospital is closely monitoring the COVID-19 cases and the impact this is having on hospitals in the Tampa Bay region.
At this time, we are reducing our pre-procedure COVID-19 testing to only surgical patients expected to be admitted to the hospital and stay overnight. All other pre-procedure COVID-19 testing will continue as is. There will also be no changes to our COVID-19 admission screenings at this time.
