Office of Clinical Research

As the region’s level 1 trauma center and the primary teaching hospital of the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, TGH is uniquely poised to conduct cutting-edge clinical trials advancing the state of medicine everyday.

The Office of Clinical Research (OCR) is committed to supporting investigators, sponsors and patients participating in clinical trials. We provide strategic services, education and training, and comprehensive review processes designed to fulfill the potential of clinical investigators and their research staff.

At TGH, the OCR works with several Institutional Review Boards and holds an FWA from the Office of Human Subjects Protection of the Department of Health and Human Services. We are actively engaged in clinical trials with university physicians, private practice groups, and private physicians.

As the clinical research portfolio of our physicians and the surrounding community grows, the services and responsibilities of the OCR will evolve and grow as well. Please feel free to contact our office with questions or requests.
