I have a condition I would like medical advice for. Can you provide advice via e-mail?

Tampa General Medical Group cannot offer medical advice via e-mail. We encourage you to discuss any medical concerns with your physician. If you would like to make an appointment with a TGMG primary care physician, click here to find a physician. 

How can I find a doctor?

Our Physician Finder referral service provides a database of all TGMG physicians. Click here to access Physician Finder.

I am a current TGMG patient. How can I communicate with my physician via email?

TGMG Patients can send messages to their provider's office via MyChart.  If you do not have a MyChart account, click here to request an activation code and get started.

How can I pay my TGMG bill? 

You can pay your bill online, view outstanding balances, set up automated payment plans and sign up for paperless billing via MyChart. If you do not have a MyChart account, click here to request an activation code and get started. You may also pay your bill online.

How can I get answers to questions about my TGMG bill? 

For questions about your TGMG bill, please call our customer service line Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at (855) 235-3496. MyChart users can submit questions about their bill via their account. Questions submitted via  will be answered by one of our Customer Service team members. If you do not have a MyChart account, click here to request an activation code.  

How can I request copies of MY medical record or imaging files?

Patients may request their medical records, including radiology and cardiology imaging files, directly via MyChart. If you do not have a MyChart account, click here to request an activation code and get started.

You may also obtain a copy of your medical records by completing and submitting the Request for Access to Protected Health Information by Individual Patients form to the TGH Health Information Management department. If you are requesting copies of another individual's records, please see the question below for third party information. Please call the Release of Information Office at (813) 844-7533 for questions about how to get copies of your medical record. 

How can I request copies of another individual's medical record or imaging files?

Third parties must complete and submit the Authorization to Disclose Health Information form to the TGH Health Information Management department. If you have questions about the disclosure of health information, please contact the TGH Health Information Management department, Release of Information section, at (813) 844-7533.

How can I submit a compliment?

Tampa General Hospital appreciates your feedback. If you would like to submit a compliment, our Patient Relations Department will ensure it is shared with the appropriate members of the team. Please e-mail patientrelations@tgh.org. If you have additional questions or comments, our Patient Relations staff can also be reached by phone at (813) 844-7249.  

How can I submit a complaint?

TGH would like to address your concerns.  We are committed to ensuring that every individual who comes to us for assistance during their time of need receives the highest level of care in a compassionate and supportive environment.  Please e-mail Patient Relations at patientrelations@tgh.org or call (813) 844-7249.  We will follow up on your matter thoroughly.

The Patient Relations office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.  We are closed during the holidays and on weekends.  If your situation is emergent and you have reached out to us during non-business hours, please call (813) 844-7000 and ask for the Nursing Supervisor.  If your matter is not emergent, our team will be in touch with you within one business day.

We can assure you that your concerns will be taken seriously and we will address them in the appropriate manner.

How can I get technical support for my MyChart account?

For questions about your MyChart account, please contact our Technology Support Center at (813) 844-7490 or via e-mail at helpdesk@tgh.org. A ticket will be assigned to your submission within 72 hours.
