TGH is among the first hospitals in the Tampa Bay region to offer a new high-tech catheter device that can improve outcomes of patients treated for atrial fibrillation (Afib).  The ThermoCool® SmartTouch® catheter, recently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, enables doctors to accurately control the amount of contact force applied to the heart wall during radiofrequency catheter ablation procedures.  To learn more about this innovative technology, click here.
