Gynecological Oncology

Tampa General Hospital offers gynecologic oncology services for cancers of the cervix, endometrium, ovaries and other portions of the female reproductive system. Every gynecologic cancer type is unique with different risks, signs and symptoms that require different treatments. Depending on the type of cancer and how far it has spread, the treatment will vary. TGH provides extensive treatment options for the following conditions:

  • Cancer:
o Cervical
o Endometrial
o Fallopian tube
o Ovarian/primary peritoneum
o Uterine
o Vaginal
o Vulvar
Post-menstrual bleeding
Complex gynecologic surgery
Pre-invasive diseases of the
vulva, vagina and cervix
Genetic-linked diseases:
      o BRCA/Lynch Syndrome
