Peter J. Berman MD

Peter Berman, M.D., F.A.C.C., completed a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Louisville and completed his residency in internal medicine at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, after graduating from St. George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Berman is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. Dr. Berman served as an interventional cardiologist in Clearwater, FL and Tallahassee, FL. In addition, he was the director of non-invasive cardiology and the co-director for the chest pain emergency room and nuclear cardiology departments at University Community Hospital in Tampa. Dr. Berman has been published in journals including the Annals of Internal Medicine, among other journals. He served as principal investigator for numerous cardiovascular trials and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Berman is a member of the Heart Failure Society of America, and the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation. His concentration is on heart failure disease management, non-invasive cardiology and imaging, and will continue to serve as a community resource to physicians throughout the Tampa Bay area.
