As the only nationally accredited comprehensive stroke center in Hillsborough County, Tampa General offers multidisciplinary emergency intervention and follow-up treatment for stroke patients in accordance with all the guidelines set forth by the American Heart Association.
Our board-certified team of neurologists help improve patients’ quality of life through cutting-edge interventional pain management procedures. Patients with seizures and complex epilepsy have access to advanced diagnostic tools and technology that provide the highest level of evaluation and treatment. Our Deep Brain Stimulator (DBS) clinic treats patients with movement disorders and features epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and seizure-related interventions. Tampa General’s headache clinic takes an advanced approach to headache and facial pain therapy with the goal of decreasing or eliminating the debilitative effects of chronic headache and restoring well-being and high levels of function.
