Isabella, a sophomore at Academy of the Holy Names, has gathered a group of her friends together to support Tampa’s “hometown heroes”. She was so impressed with the care her grandfather received while he was fighting COVID-19 at his nursing home that it inspired her to think about the team members within our walls here at Tampa General Hospital. Isabella and her friends – students from Academy of the Holy Names, Jesuit, and Plant High Schools (and their families) –  will be fundraising to support TGH’s Team Member Emergency Fund.

The Tampa General Hospital Team Member Emergency Fund (TMEF) supports team members during times of financial hardship. The fund helps Team Members pay for necessities in times of need due to unforeseeable circumstances. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, this fund has garnered additional support as well as an influx of requests for assistance. With your continued generosity, our community has helped TGH provide assistance to more than 250 team members since April 1.
