Gifts of Life Insurance
A gift of life insurance can be used for the benefit of the Foundation. The Foundation can be named as the first, second, last or co-beneficiary for part or all of an existing but no longer needed policy or a newly purchased policy. The Foundation can be named both as an irrevocable owner and beneficiary of an existing paid-up life insurance policy as well as a policy on which the donor is still paying premiums.
- You receive a tax deduction on your federal income taxes
- A gift can be made without impairing or diluting the control of a family business. Assets earmarked for family members can be kept intact
