‘Tis the Season!
This season, spreading cheer should be on the top of everyone’s to-do list! It is certainly at the top of ours, but we need your help.
Since March, our pediatric patients have had to stay isolated in their rooms and are unable to share toys or interact in the units’ common areas. Due to visitation and social distancing policies, patients’ friends and extended families are not able to stop by to help provide distractions and moments of joy. Some worry if Santa will be permitted!
Our goal is to provide a festive and homey environment not only year-round, but especially in the midst of this pandemic. Throughout this season our dedicated clinical staff has been hard at work providing additional support, supplemental toys and activities to lift patients’ spirits. However, we are almost out of supplies and cannot do it without YOUR support! Will you help spread cheer throughout TGH’s Pediatric Units this holiday season?
Your gift of any amount to TGH’s annual Operation Santa campaign will help make this season brighter
for pediatric patients and families throughout TGH’s pediatric programs and units including, the Children’s Medical Center (CMC), the Jennifer Leigh Muma Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and The Pediatric Center at Healthpark.
Your generosity will be felt throughout the hospital all year long, not just during the holiday season. If you would like to see this season’s Amazon Wish List, please contact Lia Ferretti at Lferretti@tgh.org.
Thank you for your continued support of Tampa General Hospital’s pediatric programs and for helping us ensure our patients feel special this holiday season and beyond. We wish you and your family a healthy holiday season filled with joy.
