Due to limited visitation and social distancing policies, Tampa General Hospital’s Children’s Medical Center (CMC) toy closet has been busier than ever. Because our pediatric patients have been isolated in their rooms to prevent the spread of infection, our dedicated Child Life Specialists have been hard at work delivering toys and activities to lift our patients’ spirits. They could use your help to keep the playroom closet filled with toys and activities that bring joy to the CMC.
This year, our youngest patients are worried that Santa won’t make it to TGH, so we are calling on our community for support! Would you join us in sending cheer to TGH’s Children’s Medical Center? Help our Child Life Specialists spread happiness by clicking the link below to purchase items from our registry.
Your purchase will be shipped directly to TGH and will immediately help brighten a pediatric patient's day!
*When shopping via our Amazon Registry, be sure to choose the registry address in the Shipping Section.
Would you like to make a monetary gift?
Use the donation form below or mail a gift of any amount to:
Tampa General Hospital, ATTN: Foundation E141, PO Box 1289, Tampa, FL 33601.
These cash donations will go directly towards our Child Life Fund and will help the team spread cheer all year round!
*In an effort to keep our patients and staff safe and healthy throughout COVID-19, we will not be able to host donors for rounding on campus or toy drop offs and would prefer to receive items shipped directly from online retailers.
Christmas in July is a campaign to replenish the Child Life playroom toy closet so generously filled during the holidays in December. Items from the toy closet are used by the Children’s Medical Center’s certified Child Life Specialists, Rehab Therapists and Integrative Arts in Medicine Clinicians to provide distractions, comfort, and fun activities to pediatric patients in the Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, and throughout their hospital stay.
