COMMITTEE PARTICIPATION & LEADERSHIP  

We encourage team members to get involved with the committees and councils that help make TGH a top place to work. We also offer a comprehensive on-site medical library full of the latest research and findings that will help improve patient care.  

LEAD (Leadership, Enrichment and Development)

TGH offers team members a platform to grow and develop functional leadership skills through a structured 12-month program, which includes mentorship, professional development, community involvement and much more. 

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE (PDI)  

The People Development Institute is a joint initiative between TGH and USF to support team members’ career aspirations and equip them with the skills necessary for development. This partnership is the first of its kind to offer a comprehensive university-hospital collaboration for the non-clinical growth and development of every TGH health care professional at every level within the organization, from valet to vascular surgeon. 

CLINICAL, CAREER LADDERS  

Clinical and career ladders, meanwhile, offer team members a way to map out their career paths and ensure they stay on track to meet their professional goals. The Human Resources office and department managers can help employees acquire the skills and knowledge that will put them on a path toward significant growth opportunities.
