Christmas in July

Benefitting Tampa General Hospital's Children's Medical Center

For many of us, it seems the holiday season was celebrated just a week or two ago. For our young patients, however, school is almost out for summer and they are ready for the sun! Instead of attending summer camp, catching rays on the beach, or spending hours playing outside, our patients and their families will be isolated in their hospital rooms fighting to become healthy again.
Since March 2019, our pediatric patients have had to stay isolated in their rooms and are unable to share toys or interact in the units’ common areas. In addition, due to visitation and social distancing policies, patients’ friends and extended families are not able to stop by to help provide distractions and moments of joy.
Santa will be vacationing in Tampa Bay, but this year he must travel light! Will you help Santa bring sunshine to our young patients this Summer? TGH does its best to provide an atmosphere and create a summer season that is as magical and comfortable as possible, but we need your help!
Join our Child Life Specialists, Integrative Medicine and Arts team, and Healthpark Pediatric Clinic spread smiles and happiness by making a gift of any amount today. This summer, every dollar will be matched up to $5,000.
Thanks to Bristol Myers Squibb for being this year’s Christmas In July Matching Donor!
*In an effort to keep our patients and staff safe and healthy throughout COVID-19, we will not be able to host donors on campus or collect any physical toys or gifts. Your generous cash donation will be used to purchase the perfect items to bring sunshine to our patients this summer.
Your gift of any amount to TGH’s annual Christmas in July campaign will help make this season sunnier for pediatric patients and families throughout TGH’s pediatric programs and units including, the Children’s Medical Center (CMC), Integrative Medicine and Arts, and The Pediatric Center at Healthpark.
