With the evolving field of clinical research at TGH, greater demands are being placed on the clinical researchers as they encounter a mass of new guidelines and regulations geared towards quality assurance and human subject protection issues. It is a challenge for a clinician to initiate and complete a study without any support from the institution. TGH Grants Management

Many of our employees and investigators have great ideas about improving the healthcare services we provide. However, such ideas often require funding that is not readily available through our institutional resources. The Office of Clinical Research Director is available to assist in the identification of private and government funding sources for hospital related resources or clinical research proposals. As each announcement for funding has different requirements, services are also offered to assist investigators through the grant application process, including development of the grant proposal, identification of key personnel for project contribution, building an adequate budget for project completion, determining logistical resources such as facilities and equipment needs, determining a timeline to project completion, as well as ensuring grant guidelines are met for any required support documentation. Upon grant award, the OCR Director serves as a liaison to the funding institution to ensure post award guidelines are met including appropriate expenditure of grant funds, ensure proposed timeline benchmarks are met, as well as oversight of progress and final report requirements.

Please contact the Office of Clinical Research Director if you would like Grant assistance. Thank you.
